A new study entitled "The local environment influences salt tolerance differently in four Salicornia europaea L. inland populations" has just been published in Scientific Reports. It was a pleasure to be involved.

Led by Tsipe Aavik and made possible by a great international team of scientists and citizen scientists, our article "A pan-European citizen science study reveals factors related to biased morph ratios in the heterostylous plant Primula veris" is published online in the Journal of Ecology: DOI: 10.1111/1365-2745.14477

It was a pleasure to be part of the team.

I'm thrilled to announce that I will soon be joining the CoVe lab at the University of Oldenburg after an extended family leave. In this interdisciplinary environment, I'll be continuing my research focused on advancing our understanding of saline habitats. Stay tuned for updates as I embark on this new chapter!

Led by Ilona Knolova, our article on the newly established Resurvey database was published OA in the Journal of Vegetation Science. The ReSurvey Europe database is a usefull and well needed basis for future studies exploring vegetation changes over time. Check it out!

Following a great collaboration with the NordSalt project and a diverse team of collaborators from all parts of the Baltic region, our article led by Anu Vehmaa "Harmonization of Nordic coastal marsh habitat classification benefits conservation and management" was just published OA in Ocean and Coastal Management.

Led by Raytha Murillo from the University of Alberta, our new study `Agronomic non-native species are overrepresented across habitat types in central Canada` was just published open access in the Journal of Applied Ecology! We investigated the contribution of agronomic vs. noxious non-native species to the levels of invasion across seven habitats in the Central Parkland (Alberta, Canada), including salt marshes!

Our new study `Beyond salinity: plants show divergent responses to soil ion composition` is now published open accces in Global Ecology and Biogeography. We show that ion composition matters for plant species distribution and niche differentiation in saline environments.
